You might not know it to look at my home, but I do pay attention to the latest interiors trends hitting the high street. Sure I might not buy into them all (to the relief of my husband and bank account) but I do partake in my fair share of window shopping. And you know what I’m seeing loads of this season? Faces.
They’re not new really if you think about it. You only need to visit a historic house to see that portraits have lined our walls for centuries – this is just a new and updated version of that. There is something about adding those familiar curves and glaring eyes to make us feel that little bit more together.
As payday has just hit, here are the greatest brands absolutely smashing it it on the Faces trend. Let me know if you spot any more and if you buy any!
Habitat
DAYUUUUUUUM HABITAT. When did you get so good? I hate to say it, but I have poor memories of the brand from when I was a kid. The store near me was tatty and in a disused area and eventually fell into disarray and closed. In the past few years, this brand has come back with a punch and I genuinely love almost every item in the new line.

- Large Multi-Coloured Wool Rug – £350
- Chalky Blue And Pink Patterned Slim Ceramic Cylinder Vase – £25
Anthropologie
I’ll admit this is somewhere I have absolutely never shopped – only admired from afar. But I feel like that’s about to change. On my recent hunt for the perfect round mirror, I stumbled across the Ayo mirror (below) and just adore the rattan mirror boho combo, with that shocked “Oh Karen, you look so radiant” expression that it would definitely be giving me. Before I knew it, I was knee deep into their new lines for an HOUR. Well played, Antropologie. Well played.

- Ayo Mirror – £98
- Kinska Melena Face Pot – £24
- Belle D’Isle Side Plates – £14
Rose & Grey
One of my favourite brands, and forever bang on trend, Rose & Grey have some super simple designs which pack a punch. Even though I’m completely on board with a bold wallpaper (like the eye pattern below), the bunny-eared mirror would be too damn cute to pass up! It’s part of their new kids range, but hey, even the adults deserve some Easter treats, right?
Top picks:
- Ceramic Face Vases, Set of 3 – £26
- Rabbit Ear Mirror – £69
- Mind The Gap Wallpaper – £150
Rocket St George
One of my absolute favourite interiors brands of the moment. Truly off the wall homewares which aren’t so batshit crazy that they would make your family question your taste levels. They are nailing the in-your-face trend right now. The nose vase is a particular favourite, as is the stone head – both shown below. Saying that, I could talk about this brand all day as they have a spotlight on eye-related items in store now. Go go go!
Top picks:
- Glazed Nose Vase – £28
- Blind Faith Stone Effect Head – £85
- Golden Eye Vanity Mirror – £36
Coolest trend in ages, no? I do actually have an eye mirror from Rose & Grey (bought ages ago but still in storage) and lots of little trinkets with smiles. As soon as I finish unpacking from our house move, I’ll show you around.
